This will be an interesting day! Today I want you to make a plan to do something that you have wanted to do for a while, but you have not yet done due to money, time, fear, family, whatever!
I want you to check off a “Bucket List” item so to speak! People spend a lot of time and energy talking themselves out of doing something or even planning to do something that they have always wanted to do. The reasons are endless! I don’t have time, my kids are little, I don’t have money, I will do that when I retire. Nope you are going to “plan” it right now!
It might be skydiving, a trip to Europe, a plane ride, a roller coaster ride, taking a Zumba class, learning French, visiting a friend, going to a spa, eat sushi, volunteer at a homeless shelter, etc. I don't even care what it is, just plan something...anything...that you have been putting off!
Here is what you are to do today:

1) Pick something that you have wanted to do for a while, something that you are really excited about or passionate about. Something that you have made many excuses not to do, until now.
2) Set a date to start, enroll or try this new thing. The date cannot be longer then a year from today, unless it is a trip to Europe or around the world. But DO NOT set the date longer then five years out!
3) If money is at all on issue, find a jar, a piggy bank or an empty bottle and label it. Put all of your change in the jar, everyday. Then, if you can, put the same amount in every payday $5, $10 or $50 whatever you are comfortable with. You can even sell things, have a rummage sale or pick up some extra hours, but make funding your excursion a fun focus.
4) Excuses are null and void here, they do not apply, in other words, it is your mission to make this thing happen. Not to name a million reasons why it won’t, because we already know that you can do that just fine! This is a mission to overcome the limits that you have set for yourself.
This is not just a self indulgent moment or exercise, the purpose of this exercise is to start over ruling your old belief system. The belief system that keeps you limited. This belief system of “I can’t” or “It’s just the way it is” affects aspects of your life that you are not even aware of. This is a pattern and a way of life for many of you, this is trained behavior....not the way life works! We are starting with baby steps here and then you will have the confidence to let this new mentality spill over into other areas of your life! Good Luck!
