This is a very proactive day for you! Many times people have things in their life that they would like to change, yet instead of acknowledging what these things are and fixing them, they silently stew. This stewing is in the back of their head most of the time, on a subconscious level and stewing builds aggravation.
Changing little things in your life seems so easy, so than why do you not do it? Well because deep down you know the truth that it is not easy at all and in fact it takes a bit of work. You must first acknowledge that change is needed, and in order to do some acknowledging you must take responsibility. That alone can make you cringe...for most people is very hard to do. Then there is problem solving. Here is what you are thinking I am sure, "What! Don't I do enough problem solving! My kids, my boss, I am tired of problem solving! I want to watch tv!" Last but not least and this is where it can be tricky, you need to believe that your life is worth the work! It is funny how much time and energy you can put into helping other people solve their problems, but when it comes to your own life, settling is just easier sometimes, then initiating change.
Change is not easy, but it is rewarding, and you have to want change more than you want to settle!

Change is not easy, but it is rewarding, and you have to want change more than you want to settle!
So here it is:
1) Make A List: Make a list of 5 things that you would like changed in your life. Your job, money situation, car, wardrobe, computer, shoes, weigh issue, hair, etc.
2) Write On Paper: Take five sheets of paper and at the top of each page write something different that you would like to change.
3) Address Each Piece of Paper (Or each issue): Under each heading you are going to give some thought to what it is that would help you resolve the issue, or change it for the better. For instance say your weight is page one, something that might make you feel better is losing 25lbs., maybe just looking physically fit, or more tone. If your wardrobe is page two and something you would like to see changed, something that might make you feel better is having updated clothes, clothes that fit, or clothes that flatter your figure. If you do not like your job is page three, what is it that you want? More flexability, more money, vacation, insurance, closer to home? You get the idea here.
4) Make A Game Plan: Make a game plane to clear out the past and bring in the new, gym membership, buying healthier food, running, etc. Acknowledge that change does not come about unless initiated!!!! If you are the one wanting change, and stewing, then you are the one that is going to need to be proactive. You can sit on the couch all that you want and visualize losing weight, finding your soul mate, or working somewhere you love, but I guarantee that it will be coupled with the feeling of aggravation and that is self sabotage at its best! When you have a game plan and you begin to move towards being proactive, you begin to feel an energetic shift. See, this is very key here, your intent shifts your energy and what you are projecting about your situation into the Universe. This little shift is a major component to bringing what you want into your life.
5) Problem Solve: Treat these items as if your boss has given you the list and you are going to have to resolve each problem. Somehow people can do things like this easier if they are asked to do it by someone else, for someone else's benefit. Write down steps you can take to get the result that you want, as if you have to show your "game plane" to another person. Or even better, do this with a friend and do show it to another person!6) Set A Date: Put a date under each item of when you plan to start moving toward your goal of addressing and changing that particular issue. You can work on a different one every week, or you can do them all at one time, however you choose.
7) Execute!!!! Implement change and note your progress and the steps that you take to get the change that you want. This is important!!! NOTE YOUR PROGRESS! Because you will forget all of the things that you did to implement the changes. Many times people will do several things to initiate change and only remember a handful. If you note all of the things that you do, it is like giving your self a pat on the back upon your review. Review your progress at the end of the month!
