Self Discovery & My Ebook Adventure!

I do a lot of writing and I teach people how to follow their dreams, and recently I have been watching my own dream unfold right before my eyes. (Yes, I have dreams too!) It all started when I read the Four Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferris, which I highly recommend, it really got me thinking. What is it that I want in life, what are my dreams? I have always been an entrepreneur at heart, so over the years I have dabbled in many things here and there, but nothing really hit home with me...until now, I started writing an Ebook! I LOVE IT! I loved it so much that I became confused. You see, up until this point I thought I had been pursuing my dream for awhile now, I am psychic. As a psychic, I am an author, I do readings, I lecture and I teach classes. Not only do I do it, but I am very, very good at it! How do I know? Well because people tell me all of the time. I get emails on how much I have helped people, they tell me how grateful that they are, my accuracy rate is high!  I also know this is one of the reasons that I am here on this earth, for spiritual guidance and to help people. But I have decided that something that you are gifted at, and what you dream about doing, can also be very different things.

I have always dreamed of becoming an author of not one, but several books, since I was little. I have also dreamed of having some passive income in my life. When I wrote my first book Soul DNA it cost me a lot of money, there are set up fees and print fees, I have not recouped the fees back yet. Although it was a huge hit with my clients, it did not fulfill my dream. The publishing world did not seem for me. It took a really long time, it was hard to get into book stores, publishers do not like anybody unless you are already famous. Jeez, it felt like way too much of a chore, until now. I discovered Ebooks! I love them, I love everything about them. I love how much control you have over your designs, I love how they are instantaneous, I love how you can get them for .99 and the authors are still benefiting from their hard work. They are amazing!

So I read, I read everything I could get my hands on about Ebooks, cover designers, formatting and marketing (I even loved reading about Ebooks!) The hardest thing for me was to find a good Ebook cover designer for a reasonable price, because this too can cost you a pretty penny. That's when I discovered Streetlight Graphics! They will do a cover design and the formatting for you at a great price, so I hired them right away. They got to work on my the cover of my first Ebook "Inspirational Quotes" by Jennifer O’Neill. We tossed around a few ideas when it finally hit my inbox…my new cover! It was like the clouds parted and I could hear the Angels singing! I loved it! I loved everything about it! The funny thing is I didn’t even care if anyone else liked it! That was new to me, because I am in the business of helping to keep people happy, but this was different, this was for me. That’s when I had a self discovery, this Ebook venture is all for me! From the cover to the inside of my new book, it was reflecting my creative side. A side of me that was creating a book for fun, not in hopes of pleasing people and helping them, however, if I did both in the process, double bonus. I was happy with it, my creative side was blossoming as it felt nurtured. I sent my new book out to some friends and they loved it as much as I did! Double bonus! I fulfilled my dream and creative side while helping others. 

I have had so much fun with this new ebook adventure that I have already finished my second one, (the first one is being formatted and it will be on sale soon). The second one is in the editing stages and cover design. Then it's on to book 3, 4 & 5! I expect to have the first four completed by the end of February. 


There is still the little dream about adding some passive income into my life, well...it is possible that i could even happen with my new Ebook adventure, I will keep you posted.
